devastated

my grandmother, affectionatly known as "Granny" or "Mrs. Mac" was tragically hit by a car tonight while crossing the street in front of her house tonight on the way home from a dinner party. a devastating loss that I am unprepared for... not that you can really prepare for death but, really, I kindof thought she would outlive us all. She was one spunky lady. And, OH! How I will miss her stories! A magnificent soul, who really knew how to live, has left this earth. We are all the worse for it, but the better for having her touched our lives. She will be missed. Deeply.
