All About Apples

We're talking about Apples.
We eating apples, painting with apples, picking apples, counting apples, graphing apples... you get the idea.
This apple crisp recipe is really good. I should know, we've made it three times so far this apple season...
Aa is for Apple Crisp
4 medium peeled cooking apples, sliced. (about 4 cups)
3/4 C flour
3/4 C packed brown sugar
1/2 C oats
2 t. cinnamon
1/2 C. soft butter
  1. Heat oven to 375
  2. Spread apple slices in an ungreased 8 inch square pan
  3. Mix remaining ingredients with a fork, sprinkle over apples
  4. Bake, uncovered until topping is golden brown and apples are tender. About 30 minutes.

This recipe is from the Gold Medal Flour Children's Cookbook: Alpha Bakery. A really cute little cookbook from the Gold Medal Flour Company.

It's all about the apples.
