Greetings From The Cabin

We are at our cabin in Northern Minnesota. Our lake days have been full of swimming, ice cream cones, playing cards, family time and exploring. Today we spent the day at Gibbs Beach, which is about a five minute drive from our beach. The kids like it because it's a public beach with a whole boatload of "new friends" to play with. It also has a diving dock with a diving board. After a few jumps, Adi took off her lifejacket and was running and jumping off the dock and swimming to shore. Yay! My girl is a swimming girl! We also spent a day in Ely at the annual Blueberry Festival where we devoured delicious frozen blueberry custard and swam (always the swimming) at a lovely little beach on some glorious lake watching a pair of Bald Eagles soaring around. Good times in Northern Minnesota.... wonder what we'll do tomorrow!
